We are planning to start having outdoor services starting on Sunday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the east parking lot of the church.
We will continue meeting outside each Sunday, weather permitting, until we are ready to meet inside again. We will make the decision on Saturdays if we will have the outside service for sure and will let you know. We will be sitting on the pavement on lawn chairs, not in the grass. You will need to bring the following items: lawn chairs, face masks (highly recommended but not required), umbrellas for shade (if you would like). We will be sitting apart, social distancing and please remember the following to not do: no handshakes, hugging, or no other physical contact. We will have hand sanitizing stations available for you to use. We will be taking communion and will have packaged single use communion elements. We will have coffee, juice and donut holes, all served safely beginning at 9:15 just outside the basement doors. Offering plates will be held by ushers to collect the tithes and offerings. People who are ill or have a fever must stay at home and those who are most vulnerable to possible illness may feel free to stay home. Bathrooms will be available to use in the basement, but each occupant must take their responsibility to sanitize before and after. Parents must go with children to the rest room and help them. We encourage you to bring your children and infants as we will be outside. Please feel free to invite your family and friends to worship with us.
This is the first phase of our plan to getting back together for worship. The other 2 phases are outlined on the document below. We have no set time as to when we will start the 2nd phase, but will keep everyone updated. We want to do this safely and so we are doing this in steps until we can meet all together inside our church building.
